Optima® Coating

Optima® coating was developed by and is applied exclusively at Wilson Tool's state-of-the-art in-house coating facilities. Our engineers spent two years and over one million dollars developing a proprietary TiCN (titanium carbo-nitride) coating process. This coating, which is available only to IMPAX Tooling Solutions® customers, provides a level of surface hardness, wear resistance and lubricity never before associated with coated or uncoated stamping punch press tooling.
