The HACO CNC turret punching machine Millennium 3015 is based on over 40 years of experience in the manufacturing of CNC punching machines.

With its 30 tons high-speed hydraulic punching head, X-axis of 3000 mm, Y-axis (throat) of over 1500mm and rotation axis for all tools, it is the perfect and most flexible CNC turret punching machine.

The Millennium 3015 RH converts your workshop into one with the highest indexability and flexibility that can be achieved with CNC sheet metal punching machines, without high investments, but also without the compromises of the conventional turret punching machine. Options

Tool grinding machine

The Punch and Die Grinder comprimises a cast aluminium base, a support column, and a swing arm which carries the grinding wheel assembly.

The base carries 2 chucks (a 3-jaw chuck, fitted with standard and reversible jaws, and a magnetic chuck) which enable a wide variety of punches and dies to be held securely.

The support column carrying the swing arm is mounted in high quality pre-lubricated bearings. The column is shielded to exclude grinding dust. The shield also acts as a radial stop to limit the travel of the swing arm so that the machine does not topple over when it is not bolted down.

The cup grinding wheel is driven by a 1 HP 3-phase 380/420 V - 50 HZ electric motor and is fed smoothly on to the workpiece by means of a handwheel which is graduated in thousands of an inch. The grinder is fitted with a straight cut wheel suitable for grinding hardened steel. Replacement grinder wheels are available.

The Tool Grinder also consists of a reservoir tank with a fully submersible pump and trap. The splash tray has a hinged lifting front section for easy access. Adjustment of the coolant flow is simple.

To obtain a sharp cutting edge on a punch or die, the punch must be placed in the 3-jaw chuck or the die on the magnetic chuck. With the wheel rotating, the head must be brought down manually until a light cut occurs. Then proceed with further light cuts until a sharp edge is produced.

All OMES and TRUMPF punches and dies, purchased with or for your HACO/OMES Omatic CNC Punching Machine can be sharpened.

The Tool Grinder comes standard with a ‘Shear Grinding Jig’ which enables up to 10% of roof top, single or double shear to be ground on punches.

CNC Punch Tooling

We can offer a wide range of standard and special CNC Punch Tooling, manufactered to the highest standards. The standard tool holders take the OMES style tooling, but tool holders for Trumpf style tooling can be offered as an option.

The HACO Tool Concept is both simple and practical. The stripper plate is attached to the punch holder and thus also serving as a hold-down during the punching process, resulting in much flatter workpieces.

Trumpf tooling concept

The standard tool holder(s) can only take HACO/OMES tooling, but we can also offer tool holder(s) for TRUMPF style punches and dies.

Multitool Unit with 6 stations

To increase the flexibility of the machine and reduce tool changes, a Multitool Unit with 6 stations can be used. Each Multitool station can have 6 tools up to 16 mm diameter or diagonal.

Features

Productivity through flexibility

The robust high-speed hydraulic head (up to 1000 hits per minute in nibbling and up to 1500 hits per minute in marking) ensures 22 tons of punching capacity through material thicknesses up to 6 mm. The fully programmable stroke and speed of the punching head, as well as the indexability of all tools turn the Omatic 212 RH into a highly flexible CNC Turret Punching Machine.With the large fully-brushed sheet support tables and the standard repositioning cylinders, all standard sheet sizes can be processed without any problem.

On the large standard brush tables, various workpieces can be nested on standard sheet sizes. The AC-servo driven X- and Y-axis with resp. stroke of 2000 by 1500mm and the 3 standard hydraulic sheet clamps ensure the highest accuracy on all workpieces. The high-speed punching head and the possibility to rotate all tools result in the shortest production times with a minimum number of tools. The Omatic 212 RH has a standard turret with 12 tool stations. Each tool station can take any kind of tool (small or large) including Multitools. The loading of the turret is fast and easy. The fast automatic tool change system puts the active tool from the turret into the punching head. Traditional ‘turret wear’ is thus eliminated, and all tools can automatically be rotated at any desired angle. The assembly of the tool holders is done ‘off-line’ and does not affect production runs.

Simple as well as complex workpieces can be produced with the Omatic 212 RH, due to its flexibility in programming and use. Tools with a diameter or diagonal up to 70mm can be installed in the 22 tons capacity punching head.

To increase even more its flexibility, the Omatic 212 RH can take one or more Multitool Units with 6 punches and dies. The tool rotation axis automatically selects the programmed Multitool punch and die.

Rotation of all tools

With the standard Tool Rotation Axes, all tools can be rotated.

Both the punch and die head have an AC Servo Motor, electronically synchronised, that can rotate each pund and die combination at any angle up to 360° with high precision and speed. This results in a reduced number of tools required for the same job, compared to non-rotational machines.


Controls

User-friendly graphical programming with the standard TPC25 Graphics.

The user-friendly character of the standard TPC25 Graphics control allows even those operators just starting to use CNC punch presses to learn the programming in no time. With the TPC25 Graphics software, the punching / nibbling patterns can be programmed graphically, and the NC programme is then generated automatically (ISO-code).

The clear and simple graphical tool editor eases the use of normal tools as well as Multitools.

Manual nesting of workpieces is standard on the TPC25 Graphics control, even several parts can nested on the same sheet. The tool-optimised program is then automatically generated.
