Roy G. Flagler founded The Flagler Corporation in October, 1949. Roy had previously held the position of Work Manager for a large machine tool company that produced machines for the HVAC industry.

Harley Flagler, Roy's only son, and current President of The Flagler Corporation has been employed at the Flagler Corporation all of his adult life. Harley worked in the factory with many duties to familiarize himself with the full understanding of the business operation. Harley was Vice President of Engineering from the mid 1960's to the mid 1970's when he became President and General Manager.

In mid 1978, Dan Targosz was hired as Vice President of Manufacturing. Dan had previously worked at Flagler in the 1950's and 60's. He too has been involved in the roll forming field all of his adult life. As Vice President of Manufacturing, his duties include Manufacturing Supervisor, Technical Support, and to head up special machinery assembly and tryout.

Harley traveled extensively from the mid 1970's to the early 1980's to build up the distributorships of Flagler Products. In 1982, with help from friends in the industry, Harley was introduced to Factory Representatives who were associated with other machines and equipment for the HVAC industry. Many of these representatives are still with Flagler today. These new relationships freed up Harley to concentrate on coordinating the day-to-day working between sales, engineering, administrative, and manufacturing.

Harley's two sons currently work at the Flagler Corporation. Frank and Harley Jr. are working with their father and his fine staff for the continuation of the family owned business into the next century.
